Nugget's first show! (A)

So it was official: we were going to be showing Nugget our first German Shepherd! Nugget did not want to wake up early initially and it took a lot of bribing to get him to come. We took Riley with us in hopes that he’d be a bit more willing. The plane ride wasn’t too bad as usual. We did bump into some rain, but it wasn’t anything too bad. When we landed, we headed to our hotel. There were many other dogs in the lobby area, but we just wanted to bring our dogs to our room and recover from jet lag. We got to the location a few days before the show just so we could recover in enough time. We were quite worried though, because Nugget’s coat was registered as “liver” and we were afraid it would cost him a lot of points. Plus, there were also many shepherds participating and not only was he inexperienced, but he was young and not titled. So we had a lot of stress going on that night.
